	<span>Mario Sassano &egrave; nato a Roma il 17 Febbraio 1985. Ha ottenuto la laurea triennale cum laude in Ingegneria Automatica e dei Sistemi di Automazione e la laurea specialistica cum laude in Ingegneria dei Sistemi dall'universit&agrave; di Roma "La Sapienza", Italia, nel 2006 e nel 2008, rispettivamente. Nel Luglio 2012 ha conseguito il titolo di dottore di ricerca presso l'Imperial College London, Gran Bretagna, dove &egrave; stato Assistente alla Ricerca nel Dipartimento di Ingegneria Elettrica e Elettronica a partire da Gennaio 2009. Durante questo periodo ha visitato diverse volte l'Instituto per la Sintesi e il Controllo di Sistemi Meccatronici dell'universit&agrave; Kepler di Linz, Austria. Da Febbraio 2025 &egrave; Professore Ordinario nel Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Ingegneria Informatica dell'universit&agrave; di Roma "Tor Vergata", Italia. Svolge il ruolo di Associate Editor del IEEE Control Systems Letters, di European Journal of Control, del IEEE Conference Editorial Board e del EUCA Conference Editorial Board. E' membro del&nbsp;</span>IFAC Technical Committee on Control Design ed &egrave; stato nomiato Senior Member di IEEE.</p>

	Mario Sassano was born in Rome, Italy, in 1985. He received the B.S degree in Automation Systems Engineering and the M.S degree in Systems and Control Engineering from the University of Rome &lsquo;&lsquo;La Sapienza&rsquo;&rsquo;, Italy, in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In 2012 he was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Control Theory by Imperial College London, UK, where he had been a Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2009&ndash;2012). Currently he is a Full Professor at the Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy. His research interests are focused on nonlinear observer design, optimal control and differential game theory with applications to mechatronical systems and output regulation for hybrid systems. He is member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Control Design. He is Associate Editor of the IEEE Control Systems Letters, the European Journal of Control and of the IEEE CSS and EUCA Conference Editorial Boards.&nbsp;</p>
