Research activity: PI for clinical-biological studies on Parkinson’s disease (PD) and other Movement Disorders, in particular development and validation of CSF, blood and tissue biomarkers and human-based modeling for translation. Participation to national and international genetic consortia for PD. Participation to national observational studies on Movement Disorders. Since 2023 member of "The role of IMMUnity in tackling PARKinson’s disease through a Translational NETwork (IMMUPARKNET)" supported by COST.
