	Erica Del Grosso &egrave; Assistant Professor nel Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche dell&rsquo;Universit&agrave; di Roma Tor Vergata. Erica ha conseguito il Dottorato di Ricerca in Chimica all&rsquo;Universit&agrave; di Roma Tor Vergata sotto la supervisione del Prof. Francesco Ricci e durante il suo Dottorato ha trascorso anche un periodo come visiting presso l&rsquo;Universit&agrave; di Montreal. La sua attivit&agrave; di ricerca &egrave; nel campo delle Nanotecnologie a DNA ed &egrave; focalizzata sullo sviluppo e la caratterizzazione di sistemi a base di DNA per applicazioni in campo sensoristico e diagnostico. Grazie alla sua attivit&agrave; di ricerca, Erica ha ricevuto anche diversi premi. Nel 2020 ha vinto la prestigiosa Marie Curie Individual Global Fellowship e ha trascorso 1 anno come ricercatore post-doc presso l&rsquo;Universit&agrave; della California, Santa Barbara, sotto la supervisione del Prof. Kevin W. Plaxco. Durante la sua carriera Erica ha anche vinto il primo posto per il &ldquo;Reaxys SCI Early Career Researcher Award&rdquo; per giovani ricercatori sotto i 35 anni (2018) e la medaglia d&rsquo;argento per lo &ldquo;European Young Chemist Award&rdquo; (2022).</p></document><document><p>
	Erica Del Grosso is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Science and Technology of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. She received her PhD in Chemical Sciences at the University of Rome &ldquo;Tor Vergata&rdquo; under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Ricci and during the PhD she was also a visiting researcher at the University of Montr&eacute;al. Her research activity is in the field of DNA nanotechnology and it is mainly focused on the development and characterization of DNA-based nanodevices for sensing and diagnostic applications. Erica&rsquo;s research has been also recognized by different awards. In 2020 she was awarded the prestigious Marie Curie Individual Global Fellowship and she spent 1 year as post-doc researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara, under the supervision of Prof. Kevin W. Plaxco. She was also awarded the first place for the &ldquo;Reaxys SCI Early Career Researcher Award&rdquo; for young researchers under 35 (2018) and the Silver Medal of the &ldquo;European Young Chemist Award&rdquo; (2022).</p></document> a:0:{}"
