Experiments, she has contributed in, have had international impact. Her main scientific activity were carried out: 1) at the National Laboratories of Frascati of the INFN (M.E.A. experiment at ADONE e+e- collider in the period 1975-77 and LADON experiment with polarized photons in the period 1982-88) 2) at the CERN (UA1 experiment at the proton-antiproton collider in the period 1978-82) 3) at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory of INFN (GALLEX experiment on solar neutrinos in the period 1985-1997; GNO experiment on solar neutrinos in 1997-2005; since 1990 to date DAMA project on Dark Matter and rare processes). In particular, she was the principal proponent and is the international and national responsible of the DAMA project, which has realized many different low background apparata (DAMA / NaI, DAMA / LIBRA, DAMA / R & D, DAMA / LXe, DAMA / Ge, DAMA / CRYS) and measurements of many rare processes: dark matter, rare nuclear decays, matter stability, solar axions, etc .; such activities have already produced more than 100 publications in international scientific reviews on the study of various rare processes and on the presence of dark matter particle in the galactic halo; 4) some other experimental activities were also carried out at the departments and INFN sections where she operated; 5) she has also carried out a large activity on the development of detectors and devices with innovative features, within her various research activities and in the XELIDON experiment (INFN-CSN5). She is co-author of over 300 publications and of some didattic books and editor of some dedicated issue. ➢ OBJECTIVE PARAMETERS: h-index by Google Scholar 73 (June 18, 2019)
