La sua attivit&agrave; di ricerca si concentra su diversi argomenti nell'area delle reti di telecomunicazioni, con riferimenti alla modellazione analitica ed alla valutazione delle prestazioni attraverso simulazioni e testbeds. &Egrave; coautore di oltre 80 lavori su riviste e atti di conferenze, principalmente riguardanti Information Centric Networks, Software Defined Networks, overlay network, wireless e reti ottiche. Attualmente l&rsquo;attivit&agrave; di ricerca &egrave; focalizzata on Cloud/Edge Computing, IoT, Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Information-Centric-Network (ICN). &Egrave; editor associato di IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management.</p>

	Andrea Detti ha coordinato e partecipato a diversi progetti internazionali competitivi, alcuni dei quali sono: EU H2020&nbsp; BONVOYAGE 2015/2017 (Federated multimotal Intelligent Transport Systems, project coordinator since 2017), EU-JP ICN2020 2017/2019 (WP leader, ICN services for cloud applications), EU-JP FP7 GreenICN 2013/2015 (Energy Efficient ICN, WP leader), EU FP7 2013/2014 CONFINE (coordinator of two proposals admitted to the funding within the first and second open-call, large scale wireless testbed platforms), EU FP7 2012/2013 OFELIA (ICN over SDN). E&rsquo; attualmente coordinatore del progetto EU-JP H2020 Fed4IoT (2018-2021) su IoT virtualization ed &egrave; responsabile di sede del progetto nazionale PRIN "Liquid Edge" (2019-2022)&nbsp; su Edge Computing.</p></document><document><p>
	<span>Andrea Detti</span><span>, Ph.D.</span><span>, (male) is a professor of &ldquo;Wireless Mobile Networks&rdquo; and &ldquo;Cloud Computing and Networking&rdquo; at the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of Rome &ldquo;Tor Vergata&rdquo;. His research activity spans on different topics in the area of computer networks and copes with framework design, analytical modeling, performance evaluation through simulation and test-bed. He is co-author of more than 80 papers on journals and conference proceedings, mainly regarding software-defined, overlay, wireless, information-centric, and optical networks. Currently is the research area is focused on Cloud/Edge Computing, IoT, Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Information-Centric-Network (ICN).&nbsp;Andrea Detti has worked and works on the several competitive international projects.
