	Maurizio Naldi si &egrave; laureato con lode in Ingegneria Elettronica nel 1988 presso l'Universit&agrave; di Palermo ed ha successivamente conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni e Microelettronica presso l'Universit&agrave; di Roma "Tor Vergata". Dal 2019 &egrave; Professore Ordinario presso la Libera Universit&agrave; MAria SS. Assunta (LUMSA) in Roma dove &egrave; Presidente del corso di laurea in "Tecniche informatiche per la gestione dei dati". Dal 2000 al 2019 &egrave; stato strutturato presso l'Universit&agrave; di Roma "Tor Vergata" prima come Ricercatore e poi come &nbsp;Professore Associato, e ha insegnato "Analisi tecnico-economica dei progetti ICT" e "Sicurezza informatica e Internet". Nel periodo 1989-2000 ha ricoperto diversi ruoli nei settori di Ricerca &amp; Sviuppo e Pianificazione di diverse societ&agrave; operanti nel campo delle telecomunicazioni (Selenia, ItalCable, Telecom Italia e Wind), terminando la propri&agrave; attivit&agrave; industriale in Wind come responsabile del settore di Previsioni di traffico e valutazione dei costi di rete. Per oltre un decennio &egrave; stato delegato italiano in vari organismi internazionali di standardizzazione tra cui l'ETSI (European Telecommunication Standards Institute) e l'ITU (International Telecommunications Union). E' stato Visiting Professor presso l'Universit&agrave; di Alcal&agrave; (Spagna). Ha partecipato a diversi progetti di ricerca sia a livello nazionale (PRIN ALINWEB, ALGONEXT, MAINSTREAM, ALGODEEP) che a livello europeo (Reti di eccellenza Euro-NGI, Euro-FGI, Euro-NF). Ha vinto il Best Paper Award alla 9th Conference of Telecommunication, Media and Internet Techno-Economics (CTTE 2010) per il paper "Pricing of reservations for time-limited spectrum leases under overbooking".</p>

	Maurizio Naldi was born in Palermo in 1963. He graduated cum laude in 1988 in Electronic Engineering at the University of Palermo and then received his Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Rome at Tor Vergata. After graduation he pursued an industrial career, first at Selenia (now Alenia) as a radar designer (1989-1991), and then in the Network Planning Departments of Italcable (1991-1994), Telecom Italia (1995-1998), and WIND (1998-2000) where he was appointed Head, Traffic Forecasting &amp; Network Cost Evaluation Group. In the 2000-2019 period he was with the University of Rome at Tor Vergata as an Associate Professor and held the courses "Techno-economic analysis of ICT projects" and "Computer Security and the Internet". Since 2019 he has been with LUMSA University in Rome as a Full Professor of Computer Science. He is the author of over 100 scientific publications.
