Fabrizio Caroleo was born on October 24th 1989 in Rome, he graduated in Chemistry at University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2015. In 2015 he worked as Junior Researcher in Janssen-Cilag, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and in 2016 in Merck Serono. He received his PhD in Materials for Health, Environment and Energy at University of Rome Tor Vergata in 2019. From 2019 to 2022 he worked as Grant Researcher (Winner of Research Grant - SUNSET MIUR PRIN-2017-CHIM/07) at the Department of Chemical Science and Technology of the University of Rome Tor Vergata. His research activities are focused on the synthesis of innovative porphyrin-based compounds as receptor for sensor application, the development and fabrication of novel optical sensors to monitor water pollution, mainly for heavy metals and organic pollutants detection. In 2019, he won the Adward for best oral presentation at VIII Workshop AICING 2019 (Lipari, Italy).
