Dove ha pubblicato piu' di 50 articoli nelle maggiori riviste e conferenze internazionali.   Nell'ambito della sua attivita' di ricerca, ha visitato e collaborato con diversi istituti internazionali, tra i quali l'universita' UCSD di San Diego, l'universita' di Ginevra (dove e' stato Assistant Professor per 2 anni) e l'istituto di ricerca francese INRIA (Sophia Antipolis).   E' stato Invited Lecturer in:   - Fourth  Winter School on Telecommunications  of INRIA Sophia Antipolis 2001 (ECOTEL'01); -  Scuola Nazionale dei Dottorandi di Informatica - Bertinoro 2001 (SNDIS01) - Int. 1990: Laurea degree (cum laude) in Mathematics. 1994: PhD in Computer Science (1994) at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. 1996--1998: Assistant Professor at "La Sapienza". 1998-2002: Associate Professor at the University "Tor Vergata" of Rome. 2002-..: Full Professor at the same university. His main research activity focuses on Algorithms and Complexity Theory with special interest in Randomized and/or Distributed Models. He published more than 50 papers in the most important international journals and conferences of the area. He has visited several universities, such as UCSD of San Diego, University of Geneva (where it has been Assistant Professor for 2 years), and the French Research Institute INRIA (Sophia Antipolis). He was Workpackage Leader in the CE Project AEOLUS (2005-2009). He has been Unit Leader of some national COFIN Project, the last one ''COGENT'' still active.
